Awesome

Love this app. Use it when I ski all the time.

everything must be paid for

alright so find some funding I guess because not only is every feature inaccessible, but the prices are extreme for temporary access...

$

Cool app. I personally wouldnt subscribe to it though. Advertising is probably a better model to increase a customer base.

Overpriced in-app purchases. Otherwise useless. Dont buy...

You have to buy maps for irrelevant prices. Resolution in 3D-fly mode is far worse than claimed. Mountains are artificial, like in computer game. I havent found any use of this app while having spent 429 RUB for one only map.

Perfect!!

Just perfect for all my freeriding and backcountry adventures!

Nice but need more tracks

This is the best app ever, please consider to add more alps tracks

Insane level of detail

The resorts look amazing on my iPad mini retina.

So good

I’ve been waiting for this since i saw it teased at the end of last year. It’s insane how good this looks.

Just three maps?!

This app seems like it would be awesome and it has the right ideas behind it but I dont know how much I would trust some of the data. If they have some serious feeds from the local experts on the snow and Avalanche conditions Id be impressed but Im not holding my breathe on that being the case. And only three maps?! I mean can you at least wait for a better roll out? And while the app is free the maps are far from it. I dont have any intention of skiing chamonix any time soon but lets say I did, at $7 to $20 for the map options Id feel hard pressed to get any real ROI for info I can easily find online for free. If they were to partner with lets say open snow whos forecasters have extensive regional knowledge along with regional Avalanche experts like NWAC here in the PNW (with of course maps for the area) Id be all about this app. Until something like that changes though, this is largely useless.

Map downloads fail every time

Ive tried several times to download the free trial map (nearly 2 GBs!) but it always fails. Im not about to pay $20 to download something which may or may not work.

Dont bother

This app is a joke!! I guess its useful if you ski Verbier, Cham or Zermatt. There are no US resorts to access. The pricing is also hard to justify. You are not able to even get a glimpse of the functionality of the app unless you purchase 1 of the maps.

Has potential

This app will be great once they add resorts other than a few Euro resorts

Useless right now and pricey

You need to buy each mountain for $7 or $20. They only have 4 areas now, none in the US. Other mountains coming later but nothing for Park City, Deer Valley, Killington.

The future of ski maps

Ive been blown away by the level of detail and amount of information available on those maps--having a 3D view of your favorite mountain is really some next level stuff. Theres nothing else out there like fatmap, dont miss out on the next big thing!

Best ski maps!

This apps lets you find the lines you want super quick so you can ski exactly how you want and not waste your ski vacation staring at trail maps. The imagery is really high quality so you can really tell whats going on with the terrain. Way better than the artist renditions the resort provides.

great detail and freeride info

so much more terrain detail than any other 3D maps out there. freeride overlays invaluable in understanding the terrain.

Excellent ski map app

Fatmap is the most comprehensive and highly detailed ski map app available. The 3D satellite based imagery will blow you away and provide a virtual experience of a resort without actually being there. Rea world user reviews of terrain, amenities and restaurants is icing on the cake. Additional features include links to resort content like lift and terrain status, resort cams and weather in addition to ski tracking and location sharing with friends and family (premium subscription required). Did I mention the virtual follow cam for your own ski tracks or resort runs? Use this app to navigate your favorite resort or experience a resort virtually.

Cool maps, but not many

Imagery plus zoom and rotate capabilities similar to Google Earth, but with much better details. You have to pay to see useful details like pitch and aspect and they only cover about 15 U.S. mountains so only good for fraction of skiers until they add more resorts.

This is next level...

Literally the most incredible app for the outdoors that I have ever seen

Love it!!

I brought out my phone and showed this app around the gondola cabin the other day. Everyone (including me!) was so impressed. I especially love access to all the previously unknown names of the expert runs at Crystal. This app will change the way many people ride here.
